hey,
i need help with my 1995 tomos targa lx. i have sort of the same
problem as keith with the 97 targa. except mine takes like 20
kicks to start and then once it starts it's perfectly fine. it
runs great and is a fast moped but i am having that starting
problem. i dont know what it could be. at one point it wouldnt
start at all. no matter how many kicks,it wouldn't start. so i
took apart my carburator and cleaned it out and it started but it
still took a lot of kicks.i checked the spark plug but that
seemed fine. my choke doesnt release,but we fixed it and it
stilled had that problem and now it won't release again. could it
be a timing problem? my carburator's shot? an air leaking were
the carberator meats the cylinder head? or what? could someone
please give me some advice. thank you very much.
