Ofcourse there was oil in it. That's not the problem (you can get it at
about every streetcorner here), the problem is the higher combustion
temperature and the higher pressure. Without some modifications no
engine will last long.
One thing that will help a bit is use lot's more oil (1:25).
The same goes for petroleum. 1:1 mixture with premium and that mixed
again with 1:25 oil. And ofcourse you'll have an instant smokescreen
riding like that.

How fast are you going now (without nitro) and did you modify anything
on the engine?
