when looking for a used moped, remember that missing parts are expensive to
acquire. as for the engine, remove the spark plug or exhaust pipe and look at
the cylinder. if it's scored, look elsewhere. i had a moped that ran good
until the oil injection failed and the piston seized. it would still run, but
only about 10 mph. one i replaced the piston and rings, it ran much better.
