I am talkin > about the circular golden colered piece with the 3/8 drive spot in the > middle. tried the 3/8 drive, didn't work. any suggestions.? You have to turn the nut clockwise, not counterclockwise. In shops you can get a device to keep car oilfilters from turning when you try to unscrew em. You can use one of those to keep the flywheel from turning while you screw it loose as well. Or as was posted some time ago, put a long string of cloth in the cilinder through the psrkplug hole. It'll stop the piston from moving. Robbert
