:) reload the spring, and put is on a little more backward (with more
distance to the cable) and try if it still engages after connecting the
cable , if so put it on more backward and see if it is gone..

Hi everyone,
I need help fixing my 1978 puch maxi.Like a dummy that I am I took
the clutch arm off of the splined shaft that sticks out of the side
cover.In the process of doing that I learned that it was spring
loaded.When I put it back together the clutch is engaged all of the
time.So any help would be greatly appreciated.I live in Hartford county
MD. is there any moped nuts in this area.
