It depends on the paper and the moped. Normal gasket paper in a
motobecane engine will defenately burn away. But for the old puchs you
have a special type of paper (compressed in some way) gaskets especialy
for the exhaust. Similar to the paper gasket used at the inlet of ie. a
motobecane or Puch maxi engine, there where the inlet is bolted to the
cilinder.
