Hero/puch,babbeta/puch,sears/puch,puch/puch boy puch really gets around huh? Although I have been riding and owning various cars, mopeds, motorcycles, trucks and bicycles over the past 25 or so years, I usually just bought cheap and drove the hell out of em till they puked then bought another, but recently I've come to appreciate the beauty in some of these machines and want to try my hand at restoring and maintaining my little collection, anyway about interchanging parts,my puchMS50 has a reproduced Zunndap scooter? taillight and some Puch 175cc gas/fuel mixture stickers that looked like mine and before I'm done who knows what is original, whatever works,I replaced both tires they looked just like the other ones, but very cheap looking and not much rubber. Are tires of this size really that rare or just here in the states? About the mobylettes I kind of figured most parts were interchangeable but I think they switched to a 12 volt system in 1978 also the U.S. started regulating the S#!T out of these things in the early 70's,I guess what I was asking about is all the restrictions and such that were needed to pass all these laws and how they may have affected the performance,I mean I know some were set to 1hp 1.5hp and 2hp and I want and need all I can get.........Willie
