this goes for everyone that will ask this question. The two best ways to get power from a moped are first to get a free flow exhaust (make sure your carbuerator is putting out to the max of what the engine needs. Olderr mopeds were always governed by the carbuerator.) The second best thing to do is port it, if the exhaust and intake are bigger you gain more hp. A number of other things to do are increase compression ratio slightly by sanding cylinder head. either take your air filter off or cut a whole in it and duct a scoop to force air into it. Then after you do all these things you will have gaind more hp and torque and can get a sprocket with a few less teeth in the back to increase top speed and will still have greater acceleration than before. For example a tomos moped will do 33 mph stock. then after you change the exhaust to a biturbo you it will do 45. Then with a port ini addition to that you do about 47 but you will have much more power and accelation. Then with the air filter and increased compression you will do close to 50, but after all this your horsepowerr will have doubled and then you can put a smaller sprocket in the back and have faster accerlation than before any modification and have a top speed of around 60
