anybody know if the a35 has a governor or is speed just controlled by
volumetric efficiency...
my example: Tomos A35 at -15 degrees Celsius gives 65 kph (38 mph)
same road, same winds (roughly) at 28deg Celsius 50 kph
using adiabatic gas laws... 45 degrees Celsius difference in temperature
would give a significant increase in volumetric efficiency (approx. 20%)
and that would account for the speed increase, however are there any
simple tricks (w/o nitromethane) to eke out another 15 kph in the
summer? (i'm thinking, perhaps a Bi-turbo exhaust, or a larger carb.)
Or is there an internal piece that could be adjusted (or removed) that
would let things spin faster...
your thoughts would be appreciated...
