I too have a tomos targa,same year too.The biggest problem Tomos's have are their clutches.They are made from cork and have a tendency to wear out and slip.They are also very sensitive to fluid level.I recently was going thru the same thing and replaced the 1st speed clutch linings.works well again.Go to www.mopedriders.org for many post regarding this issue and how to resolve.....Willie |
