You than break the cylinder carefully from the base gasket and lift
cylinder up to expose the piston and ring/s.The only part of the piston
to be black would be the top.Carbon.What does the cyl wall and the
piston look like?Should not have any scratches or scores.If it has
,needs new parts,maybe a rebore and a new piston and ring /s.

ok i took off my cylinder head and all i see is this big black thing
(piston?) and the rings are not exposed what do i do now?
