I KNOW JUST THE PROBLEM!!! I JUST HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM ON THE EXACT
SAME MOPED!!! NO SH*T!!!! I HAVE A TOMOS TARGA LX TOO And it was doing
that same thing. When you go to stop and put on the brakes, it wants
to lurch forward and when it does the engine dies. I will tell you
exactly what it is. GET A NEW CLUTCH DRUM. I had mine replaced at
moped hospital. Cost me $120. Now that I know what that problem is I
can deal with it in the future should it occur again. I didnt know
what it was until I took it in and they fixed it. Now it runs fine
again. Im glad too, that problem is very annoying. Especially in the
stop and go traffic of Key West. ) Let me know whats up with that...
Im certain thats it, for it happened to me less than a month ago.
