thanks Robertt,I will try your method,it sounds easier and safer than
using an acid,what would you suggest regarding the carb being cleaned
and or rebuilt,I found a good source for replacement parts and want to
more or less restore this bike to its former level of beauty and
function.I'm replacing all the cables and bought new tubes and tires as
well,I'm hoping to be riding this soon.Willie
